Why Gear Brands Live or Die on Organic Search
Most ad platforms won't run tactical-gear campaigns, full stop. That constraint shaped everything about how we built this store — and it turned out to be a gift.

Tactical & Outdoor Gear · Colorado Springs, CO
Range day, everyday carry, hunting season, or a twelve-hour shift — every collection is curated by staff who run the gear, spec’d with real numbers, and backed for life. Gear and apparel only: no firearms, no ammunition, no fine-print surprises.
Shop by Mission
Nobody shops for "nylon goods." You shop for Saturday at the range, the bag you carry daily, elk season, or the shift that starts at 0600 — so that’s how the store is built.
Everything that goes in the truck before a range session — padded gear duffels, electronic ear protection, ballistic-rated eyewear, and gloves that survive brass and gravel.
Low-profile slings and pouches, pocket organizers, compact lights, and belts that carry the same every single day — gear you stop thinking about because it just works.
A layering system built for glassing at 20°F and hiking out at 50°F — merino base layers, quiet softshells, meat-hauler frames, and tripod-ready optics accessories.
Shift-proof gear for professionals — modular duty belt systems, MOLLE pouches, uniform-ready base layers, and boots that hold up to a year of double shifts.
Compliance, Before Checkout
Restricted-item rules are part of this category. We surface them on the product page and in the cart — never as a surprise cancellation after you’ve paid.
18+ · Age-Verified Items
A small set of restricted accessories in our catalog (certain laser devices and defensive sprays) require date-of-birth verification at checkout and ship only where state law allows. Everything else — bags, apparel, belts, lights, and camp gear — has no restrictions.
How age verification works →ITAR / EAR · Export Rules
Some tactical products are controlled for export under U.S. ITAR and EAR regulations. Granite Ridge ships those items to U.S. addresses only, and we screen every international order against the current denied-persons lists. If your cart is affected, you will see it clearly before payment — never as a surprise cancellation after.

I asked which range duffel to buy and the guy behind the counter talked me OUT of the more expensive one because I don't shoot matches. Then the spec sheet online matched what he said word for word. That's why all my gear money comes here now.
Our unit switched to Sentinel belt systems after two of us trialed them for a month. Summit membership got us agency pricing, and when a buckle keeper wore out, the priority repair queue had it back in four days. Nobody does that.
The layering guide is the reason I found this store — an AI assistant quoted it when I asked how to dress for a November glassing hunt. Bought the merino quarter-zip it recommended. Eleven days in the field, warm the whole time.
The Compliant Acquisition Channel
When a buyer asks a search engine — or an AI assistant — what belongs in a range bag or how to size a duty belt, the citable answer wins the customer. Structured product specs, honest guides, and plain-English compliance pages are how this store gets found without a single ad dollar.
Questions
No — and we never will on this store. Granite Ridge is a gear and apparel outfitter: bags, belts, layers, lights, and camp equipment. That focus is why our staff can know every SKU on the shelf and why most of the catalog ships without restrictions.
A small set of restricted accessories — certain laser devices and defensive sprays — carry federal or state age minimums (18+). Checkout verifies your date of birth and ship-to state for those items only; we store the verification result, not your documents. The other ninety-plus percent of the catalog never asks.
Most of the catalog, yes — bags, apparel, belts, and camp gear ship anywhere our carriers go. Items controlled under U.S. export regulations (ITAR/EAR, mostly certain optics and lasers) ship to U.S. addresses only, and the product page says so clearly before you ever reach checkout.
Basecamp is free and automatic: 1 point per $1, 100 points = $5. Ridgeline ($49/yr) adds free standard shipping, 1.5x points, and 48-hour early access to drops. Summit ($99/yr) adds duty and agency pricing, a priority repair queue, and a dedicated line to the counter. Points never expire while your account is active.
Bags, belts, and hardware are warranted for life against defects in materials and workmanship — if a seam, buckle, or zipper fails under normal use, we repair or replace it. Apparel carries a 2-year field warranty, and we repair worn-out favorites at cost for as long as you own them.
